Alterations, what to expect
- We like to start fittings 6 weeks before your wedding date/fly date, we carry out 3 appointments during this time.
- The first fit is to discuss your dress, the alterations needed and give you a breakdown of the costs. We usually take payment at your first fit.
- At your second fit everything is temporary stitched ready for you to retry and discuss how you feel about the fit.
- At the final fit everything is finished and ready to collect.
- You can choose to collect your dress at your final fit, or we can book an additional collection appointment in for the week of your wedding.
- We do have a booking fee of £40 which is payable when booking your appointments. This covers all 3 appointments and is non-refundable.
- Our sister company Harry Holtby offers custom made accessories. From veils, capes, sleeves, bows and more. Accessories can be ordered at your first fit or alternatively we can book an earlier appointment in the studio to have your accessories made ready for your first appointment.
